Mrs. Myrtice Hancock Robinson, 72, of Dougherty County, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016 at her home while surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2016 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. An additional service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., at Oaky Grove Baptist Church in Berrien County with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. James Giddens and Rev. Talmadge Gilliard will officiate.
Born December 30, 1943 in Alapaha, GA, Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late Homer Glenn Hancock and Lillie Mae Noles Hancock. She worked for Coats and Clark and Moore’s Business Forms. Mrs. Robinson was most proud of caring for her family and all of them knew that “Granny’s Kitchen” was always open. She loved working in her flower gardens and attended Oaky Grove Baptist Church in Berrien County.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Daniel Robinson; sons, Steve Robinson and wife, Lynette of Cusseta, “Jerry” Russell Robinson and wife, Mary “Libby” of Leesburg; daughters, Judi Cauley and husband, Brian of Albany; and Alice Marie Douglas of Waco, TX; brother, Melvin and Deborah Hancock of Cumming; grandchildren, Chris, Joshua, Sean, Nicholas, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Josh, Elaina, Ryan, Stephen and Daniel and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Sunday evening at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
