Obituary for Maryetta Jackson (Gilliard )

Mrs. Maryetta Gilliard Jackson, 76, of Albany, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, August 09, 2016 from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Omega, GA. Pastor Steve Walden will officiate.
Born June 12, 1940 in Willacoochee, GA, Mrs. Jackson was the daughter of the late De Edward Gilliard and Mamie Mae Solomen Gilliard. She worked for several years with Flint River Textile, loved her family dearly and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, Willie J. Jackson, Sr.; 2 sons, Robert Jackson and Daniel Lee Jackson; daughter-in-law, Barbara Quinn Jackson and several siblings.
Survivors include her sons, Willie Jame Jackson, Jr. of Sylvester, Jesse Jackson of Panama City, FL; daughters, Deborah and Charles Riner of Sylvester and Sheran Jackson Luke of Albany; brothers, Horace Gilliard, R.D. and Ray Gilliard and Bobby Hall; sisters, Ruby Slaven and Helen Hall; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Wednesday evening at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
