Obituary for James Felton Renew

Mr. James Felton Renew, 74, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2016 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Pastor Les Reed will officiate and the family will receive friends following the service.
Born March 1, 1942 in Worth County, Mr. Renew was the son of the late Elton Odis Renew and Addie Lou Lawhorn. He retired from Flint River Textile and enjoyed working in his yard. He was of the Baptist faith and had recently given his heart to The Lord.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Renew was preceded in death by his son, Mike Renew in 2009 and step-son, Brian Christmas in 2004.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Sue Renew of Albany; brother, John Renew of Albany; 4 grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Junior and Jean Simpson of Albany and James Bill and Shirley Simpson of Carrollton.
