Condolences

Condolence From: Evelyn Hall
Condolence: May you find comfort in knowing that the Bible teaches that all in the grave will hear Jesus voice and come out to a resurrection. (John 5:28,29) Because death will eventually be done away with, we will enjoy lasting peace and security with our dearly departed. (Revelation 21:4)

Condolence: Wow, I am still trying to wrap my head around this. I can't believe Terry Graham my friend, the larger than life character, the extraordinary story teller, my mentor is no longer here. I am heartbroken. Terry was a wonderful person. He is the reason I spent 15 years in Television News, he told me I could do it, he believed in me and helped me believe in myself. I will miss him dearly. I'd love to tell the family funny stories about my time with Terry, he was hilarious. I know you are grieving right now but God has his hands on you. Psalm 34:18 "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Condolence: Ahhh....Terry Graham....what a gifted talent. I was fortunate enough to have him serve as our news director and prime anchor at WXVT in Greenville Mississippis.. He could light up a TV set and command your attention with a look and his words....He was an incrdible talent. He agreed to do a sries of mini documentaries on his "travels" in the Mississippi Delta that he produced, editied, voiced and created...Quite candidly, his work was network quality.

I was sad to see him leave but he chose to follow his own muse...and he was missed. He was (and in my mind...is)..a gifted newsman...and was denied his true greatness in our industry only by his untimely passing.

People who knew him cannot easily forget his presence.

Condolence: I only knew Mr. Graham from watching him on Fox31. He stood out above the rest in the way that he reported the news. He seemed to be a class act. He will be missed!

Condolence: It doesn't seem all that long ago that I strolled in the front door of WFXL for my interview with Terry. I was hired, and over the course of my time at the station (and beyond), I got to know Terry well, and he became more than just a News Director. He was a colleague...a friend. We had countless conversations about anything and everything. There were times when I would ask him for advice...and times he would ask ME for advice. He touched my life along with hundreds of others. He is missed by me and many people who had the privilege of knowing him. I hope everyone up in Heaven walks up to Terry to "Say Hello...to my little friend!" Rest In Peace Terry.

Condolence: Terry was a wonderful man whose integrity, ethics and loyalty live on in the lives of the many young people he mentored in the broadcast industry. His influence is felt across the country in newsrooms coast to coast. You are in our hearts and prayers.

Condolence: Terry Graham was truly a class act, a gentleman, and a scholar of his craft. I enjoyed many thoughtful conversations with him during his time at FOX 31. He was an asset to this community and the type of guy that you just enjoyed being around. I am sure that he is now among the angels watching over us all. God bless you my friend. You will be missed.

Condolence: Terry Graham made us fall in love with every little sleepy town in the Mississippi Delta through his TV series "Delta Discovery". His beautiful stories and photography combined with just the right music had us hitting the rural roads in search of that station in Tutwiler where W. C. Handy became known as the Father of the Blues, or that "Crossroads" at Hwy 61 & 49 near Clarksdale where it is said that Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil. Hope Terry knew how talented he was and that he made a lasting impression on so many of us that we will take to our own graves.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Terry's death. I will have fond memories of his kind attitude, positive and encouraging words and supportive advice. While he was one of the very talented communicators in this business, his attitude always seemed to be how he could help others to be the best that can be. My sympathy goes out to his family.
