The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of MGySgt Howard Unruh can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Unruh's (Carlton, Alicia & Eugene) My sis sent me screenshot of FB wall with this sad news. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I had not been in touch with you guys for several years and hope Rusty didn't suffer... Well I don't have to say how much I admired my Sunday school teacher at the chapel, my Troop 101 Scoutmaster, and friends' dad. He always had a cheerful countenance, a cup of coffee in his hand, and a smile on his face. My sincerest condolences you guys. -Kevin
