The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William Tharpe can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Myran Julie Jarmon of Midland City, Al
Condolence: I read about the untimely death of Billy after just 56 short years of precious life and I wanted to express my feelings of sympathy for the Tharpe family. Most of us have seen this enemy death claim the lives of people dear to us. But Jehovah God (Psalms 83:18) promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. Rev. 21: 4; tells us: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Isaiah 25: 8, 1 Corinthians 15: 26) For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. (John 5: 28) I offer my sincere condolences to the family. Feel free to contact me at my email address: myranj@centurytel.net

Condolence: Billy has left our family with lots of fond memories. He will never be forgotten. Our condolences to Beth, Becky, Billy's children and any other loved ones.

I'll share one crazy memory:

It was a thing back in the day to ride by our parents house and yell. At his house it was of course " "TTtthhhhheeeelllmmmaaaaa""!! And at my mothers house it was " Bbbbbeeeettttyyy". That's Thelma and Betty. RIP Billy!! ❤️

Condolence: Billie, or Boy is what I called him for so many years.
Bill worked for me for years, if I had to ( or wanted to) leave town for a few days, Billie ran my business. I trusted him with everything! Bill has been my friend for more then 40 years,
I am truly at a loss.
Much more then just a friend, Bill has been part of my life
For most of my life.

I lost my son 20 years ago, but the loss of Billie is as much a loss as loosing my own son! Yes, Bill was like my son, this is a real sad time for all that knew him, Rolf
