The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William Tharpe can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Billie, or Boy is what I called him for so many years. Bill worked for me for years, if I had to ( or wanted to) leave town for a few days, Billie ran my business. I trusted him with everything! Bill has been my friend for more then 40 years, I am truly at a loss. Much more then just a friend, Bill has been part of my life For most of my life. I lost my son 20 years ago, but the loss of Billie is as much a loss as loosing my own son! Yes, Bill was like my son, this is a real sad time for all that knew him, Rolf
